Large Nonprofits Argue Their Need for PPP-Type Relief

Due to the fact that SF Goodwill and YMCA SF are both large nonprofit organizations with over 500 employees, they are left ineligible for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and are at high risk. The two CEOs, William Rogers of SF Goodwill and Chuck Collins of YMCA SF, published an op-ed in the San Francisco Examiner about how their businesses, meant to serve local residents in need, are not able to help without funds from the PPP. Nonprofit Quarterly reporter, Ruth McCambridge, covered the story.
