The Laurel StreetFair is a incredible celebration of music, food, culture, and now–thanks to Goodwill SF Bay–fashion!

We will be bringing a pop-up version of our much-loved Shop concept to this year's free street fair, providing trendy clothes and accessories for all the festival goers on August 10th. This special set-up will be located right outside our MacArthur St store for the full hours of the fair, from 11am–7pm.

The Shop is our curated selection of vintage, vintage-inspired, and future vintage items, focusing on pieces with the highest quality and style. We opened our first Shop at the Fillmore store in late 2023 and have since expanded it to our San Mateo location. The Laurel StreetFair pop-up will be The Shop's first appearance on the other side of the Bay and we are so excited to introduce it to East Bay shoppers.

The selection at The Shop pop-up will include summer festival wear, sun dresses, layering pieces, bags, and accessories–all handpicked treasures that are beautiful, unique, and fashion-forward. If you want a sneak peek of this year's items, make sure to follow our Instagram! We will be sharing our favorite pieces with our followers in the week leading up the the fair.

The Laurel StreetFair World Music Festival is an admission-free, all-ages community fundraiser and celebration of art, cuisine, dance and music from around the globe. Funds raised from the festival go directly back into the Laurel District community; helping to provide public art projects, graffiti and trash removal, street-scape improvements, facade improvements and to help promote the many wonderful small businesses that make the Laurel District so special.

This neighborhood has a rich history and currently Oakland's most diverse business ownership, which is evident in the amazing variety of shops, restaurants, and experiences on offer. The main thoroughfare, MacArthur Boulevard (where our store is located!), used to be U.S. Highway 50, a major route through Oakland. You can still spy some neon signs and other business markers that date back to the mid-1900s!

In addition to The Shop pop-up, we will also have a team providing information about our mission and career services.
