Clearance Centers

At Goodwill SF Bay, we strive to let nothing go to waste.

Most of the items generously donated by our community are processed by our team, tagged for sale, and sold at our thrift stores. There, they find eager customers and get a second (or third!) use — easing pressure on our local landfills.

Sometimes we receive items that we are unable to sell due to disrepair. And sometimes items in our stores don’t sell within a specified period of time and need to be cleared out to make room for incoming merchandise. Since all of these items still have value, we make them available at our Clearance Center outlets, where you can shop at discounted and by-the-pound prices.

Thank you for following these Clearance Center rules:

1. Children ages 12 and younger are not permitted to shop. Customers ages 13 to 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. This store is a warehouse environment with equipment in constant use and our team is committed to providing you with a safe shopping experience.

2. Loitering, selling, sorting, or trading in the parking lot is not permitted.

3. Only one shopping cart is allowed per shopper to help provide a fair shopping experience for everyone. Do not leave your cart unattended. No exceptions.

4. Shopping carts are not permitted to leave the store. Goods must be purchased at the register, carried, and loaded into your vehicle. This will allow returning customers to easily enter the building. We do not hold or store items for customers.
