You’ve asked and we’ve listened–Goodwill SF Bay stores now have new and expanded discounts!

We’re bringing back some of your favorite ways to save with color tag discounts and have introduced deals for more of our valued community members. Every day of the week offers a way to save, so you can get big savings on the best finds from your favorite thrift spot. Keep reading to learn how the daily discounts work so you can get the most out of your trip to Goodwill. 

Color Tag Discount of the Week 

Every day of the week you can save 50% on select items. Check the discount sign at the front of each store to see which colored tag of the week is 50% off. For example, “Yellow tags are 50% off this week!” Every item in stores is tagged with a specific color tag, and the color tag discount will change each week. Discount will apply automatically at register. 

Military, Students, Teachers, and First Responders Discount Sunday 

All military, students, teachers, and first responders can show their ID cards to get 25% off their entire purchase every Sunday! 

Please note that discounts cannot be combined.

Senior Discount Tuesday 

Introducing a bigger discount for seniors! Seniors (55 and better) can get 25% off their entire purchase every Tuesday. All you need to do is show your ID card to the cashier at checkout.

$2 Tag Day Thursday 

A weekly favorite. Select items are only $2 on Thursdays. To find out which color tag is $2, check the discount sign at the front of the store. Discount will apply automatically at register. 

These discounts are now available in-store at our locations throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Mateo, San Francisco, and Solano counties. Please note that discounts do not apply to e-commerce purchases or at our Clearance Center locations. 

The daily discount is posted at the front of the store, so you’ll always know how to score the best deals when you shop. And the Color Tag of the Week changes every Friday, so each week brings new items you can save big on!
