Thank you, Mill Valley!
This past week, our Mill Valley donations site moved from 1 Camino Alto to 411 Miller Ave. Though the sites are only half a mile away from each other, the move required the work of many and we’re so grateful for the city of Mill Valley for its support.
Once it was announced that our Camino Alto site was closing, we received an outpouring of messages from locals about how important our presence is to the community. We knew we wanted to stay as close and convenient as possible and it’s thanks to the efforts of Mill Valley City Manager Todd Cusimano and Councilmember Max Perrey that we were able to secure a nearby location as quickly as we did.
“Goodwill’s donation centers have been serving Mill Valley for over two decades. We are fortunate to have longtime businesses that are committed to serving our residents and the greater good,” said City Manager Todd Cusimano.
The donations provided by Mill Valley residents are a crucial piece in our mission to equip low-income individuals and people facing barriers with the skills required to succeed in the 21st century job market.
Visiting the new site
Our new location at 411 Miller Ave is just as convenient as our previous site with a spacious parking lot, designated drop-off spots, and helpful attendants to assist in unloading your items. We’re across the street from Whole Foods and right next to Mill Valley Swirl, so you can batch your errands or get yourself a tasty ice cream treat after dropping off your donations. Watch the video below to see how easy it is to visit.
Not local to Mill Valley? Don’t worry, we have thirty-one other donation sites located all through the San Francisco Bay. Find your closest donation center here.
