Serving those who served and their spouses.
Our Veterans Employment Training and Services Program offers training opportunities and job placement resources to veterans and their spouses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Through this program, veterans and spouses of veterans have access to the full array of career services and training programs offered by our Comprehensive Job Center.
We're here to support veterans and their spouses however we can.
Veterans and their spouses will have priority-of-service for any program or training enrollment.
Attend an orientation and indicate a veteran background on the intake forms and our team will match you with a veterans career advisor.
If needed, veterans and their spouses can inquire about services, aids, or support by calling our main job center or emailing the veterans team.

Meet Michelle Hersey
Michelle Hersey went into the military at a young age, leaving Birmingham, Alabama for the Mojave Desert and joining the challenging ranks of the U.S. Marines. “I’m very proud of that,” she shares, describing the dedication it took to join and excel in her role as a communications specialist. But transitioning from military life proved challenging. Michelle and her family faced repeated hardships, including periods of homelessness. An unexpected encounter at an event led her to join Goodwill’s Veterans Employment Training and Support Program, providing her with resources and support during a critical time.
