We will be right in the heart of the Fillmore Jazz Fest on July 6th & 7th, celebrating the joy of music and community in our Fillmore store.
This iconic San Francisco event showcases the soul of one of America's most unique and historic neighborhoods, the Fillmore district. Once dubbed "The Harlem of the West", this area hosted history's major musical talents, including Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Billie Holliday. Today, the Fillmore Jazz Fest recreates the energy of past eras with a free, two-day festival packed with live music, entertainment, food, and more. We are honored to be part of such a storied neighborhood and to contribute to this year's festivities.
This year we will host the incredibly talented local saxophonist Kalin Joshua Freeman, who will bring the jams while you shop in-store. We will also have specially curated items for you to shop, including records, vintage clothes, and musical instruments. If you were at the event last year, you might remember some of the amazing gems we had!
Find us at the corner of Fillmore and Post, right next to the Jones Memorial United Methodist venue and down the street from the Sutter Stage. The store will be full of music and good vibes, and of course aisles and aisles of items for you to shop! Come support your neighbors while you celebrate the neighborhood–your purchase provides job training and career services to Bay Area residents in need.
Stop by the store at 1669 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA.
