Write a guest blog post

We’re looking for smart, topical writers who may want to guest-post for one or both of our blogs.

Are you a social activist who blogs? A blogger who wants to drive positive change in our community? Someone who has a good idea for how to alleviate poverty or conserve our natural resources? Or perhaps you work in a Bay Area nonprofit, NGO or government agency and have news that you think would be relevant to the Goodwill audience. If so, we hope you’d consider writing a guest post for:

Bay Area Impact: Turning awareness into action. This community blog is devoted to the topics of social justice, personal transformations, sustainability and community change. We’ll feature profiles of constituents as well as highlight posts about public policy and social issues. The writers include Goodwill staffers and Bay Area bloggers.

Are you someone who artfully pieces together your wardrobe or curates your flat with finds plucked from the aisles of Goodwill? Might you have a penchant for creating something beautiful out of stuff that other people mindlessly throw away? And do you love to write as well? Then we’d be honored if you’d consider filing a guest post for:

Seismic Thrift: Fabulous finds … and what to make of them. Our other community blog is all about the thrill of thrifting, creating a personal style, repurposing stuff from Goodwill through clever crafting and making art from the most unlikely of raw materials. The writers include Goodwill staffers and Bay Area bloggers.
