We’re happy to announce the launch of our first mobile app, called Goodwill Bay Area. It’s available now for both the iPhone and for Android devices, and it’s free.

Here is what you’ll get:

• The app will tell you the Goodwill stores and donation drop-off spots nearest to you, based on GPS.

• It also will let you share photos of your donations or purchases and check in on your social networks.

• Also, you’ll receive offers of discounts, offers and specials from our store managers.

Many individuals in the Bay Area don’t have home computers — but they do have smartphones. Within three years, a majority of the U.S. population will be accessing the Internet primarily through their mobile phones, so we’re happy to get on board the mobile bandwagon.
