Every dollar invested through Goodwill works triple-duty: First, we help individuals develop the skills and experience necessary for a sustainable livelihood. Second, we help our community by strengthening it with people invested in their futures and the futures of their families. Third, we help the environment by diverting goods from landfill.

Here are just a few examples of how we create opportunities for people to transform their lives through the power of work:

$710 underwrites:
Six weeks of on-the-job training for program participants between the ages of 18 and 24, connecting them to resources and creating job opportunities for them.

$500 underwrites:
Two weeks salary for one participant in the Sales and Service retail training program. This means that the participant can help support his/her family while receiving on-the-job training from Goodwill.

$100 underwrites:
Interview clothing to help program participants success in their job search.

$25 underwrites:
The cost to host workshops for people looking for work. The workshops focus on topics including resume writing, to interview skills, and networking.
