Radio gets a dose of Goodwill
Deborah Alvarez-Rodriguez has a lot of good things to say.
The San Francisco Goodwill CEO and former head of San Francisco’s Department of Family and Children Services recently shared some of those positive tales during a nationally broadcast radio interview with CBS.
Speaking recently with CBS public affairs director Liz St. John, Alvarez-Rodriguez explained how the Bay Area arm of the for-profit social enterprise currently serves 7,000 participants through its educational and job-training services. SF Goodwill has also contributed hundreds of new jobs to the local economy and diverted 25 million pounds of donated goods from our landfills.
